Account & Registration
How do I create an account on Prajapati Samaj Setu?
Click the Register button at the top of any page. Fill in your name, email, mobile number, and city. You will receive a verification email — click the link inside to activate your account. Registration is completely free.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Go to the Login page and click "Forgot Password?". Enter your registered email address and we will send you a password reset link. The link is valid for 60 minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
How do I update my profile information?
After logging in, go to My Account → Edit Profile. You can update your name, photo, city, occupation, and other details. Changes are saved instantly and reflected on your profile.
How do I delete my account permanently?
Go to Account Settings → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm with your password. Once deleted, your profile and personal data will be permanently removed within 7 days. This action cannot be undone. If you only want a break, consider deactivating instead.
Can I have more than one account?
No. Each person is allowed only one account. Multiple accounts for the same person violate our Terms of Service and may result in all accounts being banned. You can manage multiple family member profiles (e.g. matrimony listings) from a single account.
Matrimony
How do I create a matrimony profile?
Log in and go to Matrimony → Create Profile. Fill in the candidate's details including education, occupation, family background, and upload a photo. All profiles are reviewed by our team before going live — this usually takes 1–2 business days.
Are the matrimony profiles verified?
Yes. Every profile is manually reviewed by our moderation team before it appears in the search results. We verify that the profile belongs to the Prajapati community and that the information provided is reasonable. However, we always recommend families independently verify all details before proceeding.
How do I contact someone whose profile I like?
Free members can express interest using the "Send Interest" button. To view contact details and send direct messages, you need a Premium or Gold subscription. This helps ensure serious inquiries only.
How do I hide or deactivate my matrimony profile temporarily?
Go to My Matrimony Profile → Settings → Hide Profile. Your profile will be invisible to other members until you choose to show it again. This is useful once you have found a match and want to pause your listing without deleting it.
Business Directory
How do I list my business on Prajapati Samaj Setu?
Log in and go to Business → Add My Business. Enter your business name, category, city, contact details, and a brief description. A basic listing is free. To feature your business at the top of search results, upgrade to a Business Premium plan.
Who can list a business? Only Prajapati community members?
Business listings are open to businesses owned or run by members of the Prajapati community. The owner must have a verified account on our platform. Businesses not connected to the community will be removed after review.
How do I update or remove my business listing?
Go to My Account → My Businesses. From there you can edit any details, upload new photos, or permanently delete the listing. Changes take effect immediately after saving.
Subscription & Billing
What are the subscription plans available?
We offer three plans:
- Free — Browse profiles, express interest, list your business
- Silver — View contact details, send direct messages, priority listing
- Gold — All Silver features + featured profile badge, advanced filters, unlimited messaging
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan. You will keep access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. Your subscription will not renew after that. For refund eligibility, see our Refund Policy.
My payment failed but money was deducted. What should I do?
This sometimes happens due to network issues. In most cases, the amount is automatically refunded by your bank within 5–7 working days. If it isn't, email us at billing@prajapatisamajsetu.in with your transaction details and we'll resolve it within 2 business days.
Privacy & Safety
Who can see my contact details?
Your phone number and email are never shown publicly. Only Silver and Gold subscribers can view contact details of profiles they are interested in — and only after you have mutually shown interest (for matrimony). You can also choose to hide your contact details entirely from your privacy settings.
How do I report a fake or suspicious profile?
On any profile page, click the "Report" button (flag icon). Select a reason and add a brief note. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours and takes appropriate action. Your report is completely anonymous.
Does Prajapati Samaj Setu sell my data to third parties?
Absolutely not. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. For full details on how we handle your information, please read our Privacy Policy.
Technical Issues
The website is not loading properly on my phone. What should I do?
Try these steps in order:
- Refresh the page (pull down to refresh on mobile)
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Try a different browser (Chrome works best)
- Check your internet connection
- If the issue continues, email us with a screenshot at support@prajapatisamajsetu.in
I didn't receive the verification email after registering. Help!
First, check your Spam or Junk folder — it often lands there. If it's not there either, log in and go to Account → Resend Verification Email. If you still don't receive it within 5 minutes, contact us with your registered email address.
How do I upload a profile photo? What size is allowed?
Go to Edit Profile → Upload Photo. Accepted formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP. Maximum file size is 2 MB. For best results, use a clear, well-lit face photo with minimum 400×400 pixels. Inappropriate or blurry photos may be removed by our moderation team.
